All about the three Prime Evils in the Diablo story

The fascinating games of the Diablo series have three Prime Evils. These are Diablo - the Lord of Terror, Mephisto - the Lord of Hatred, and Baal – the Lord of Destruction. HERE

The three make the horribly evil triumvirate that troubles the world of Sanctuary again and again. They are the three brothers who rule the Lesser Four by sheer force and cunning. The three brothers are the worst of all the Evils. The three brothers got many victories against the Armies of Light and were feared by their own evil subjects also.

In Diablo 1, Horadrim captured the strongest of the Prime Evils – Diablo – and imprisoned him in Soulstone. Diablo was later buried beneath the Tristram town in the deepest of caverns. The main storyline of Diablo follows on.

The thing is that Diablo is such a strong Evil being that he keeps returning to torment the world of Sanctuary. He even managed to get into the mind of the hero in Diablo 2. Then, the hero was sent out to locate Mephisto and Baal. By the end of Diablo 2 we know how Diablo and Mephisto are destroyed – or supposedly destroyed. But we have no clue what happened to Baal. There was an extension in the second edition with Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction. A new mythical object was introduced in the extension. This was the Worldstone – an ancient crystal-rock that stops the Heavens and the Hells from overwhelming the mortal realm. All the Evils go to the Black Abyss.

Cain is also known as 'Cain the Elder'.
He is the only living human being left in the bloodline of the Horadric mages. Deckard Cain is also brother-in-law of Aiden, Warrior from Diablo I and Dark Wanderer. Cain has featured in all the three editions of the Diablo games. As a player, Cain is the person you would be turning to for all the advice. Cain also initiates the Diablo Quests and Archbishop Lazarus in Diablo 1. He initiates several quests in 2 also. Cain has the ability to identify items for both free and for a price. Cain identifies the items for free if he has been rescued. Deckard Cain is descended from the same Jered Cain who had imprisoned Diablo 200 years before. There is no one who has been schooled in the most obscure history and lore of the arcane.

The only other survivor after Tristram was destroyed was the Dark Wanderer. The demons did not kill Cain. They left him in a cage in the center of town. They expected him to die there.
